Verdict Delivered in Oricom Case After Decade-Long Legal Ordeal

The High Court in Glasgow has delivered its verdict in the trial of Gavin Brown and Adam Sharoudi, directors of Oricom Ltd. National Services Scotland brought the case, which concluded after more than 15 weeks of evidence and a legal process that has lasted over a decade.

Mr Brown and Mr Sharoudi were found guilty on one or more charges relating to historic contract activity within the NHS in Scotland.

In a brief statement, the directors said:

“We continue to maintain our innocence and remain deeply concerned by the conduct and fairness of these proceedings. Our legal team will review the judgment and advise on potential grounds for appeal.”

For many years, Oricom Ltd has operated as a trusted, cost-effective telecoms provider to Scottish health boards. All contracts were awarded through standard public procurement channels.

“This process has taken a huge toll on us personally and professionally. We remain committed to ensuring our side of the story is heard, fairly and in full, at the appropriate time.”

The company continues to pursue a separate litigation case concerning outstanding payments for services installed and delivered.

No further public comment will be made while legal matters remain ongoing.
